Course Overview

The Smile Dental Academy’s Diploma in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry provides dentists with the knowledge and understanding of the latest techniques in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry.

This year qualification consists of a structured programme over 24 days, creating a unique blend of learning through practical hand-on sessions, lectures, mentoring sessions and interactive group work.

This course will allow delegates to enhance their current skill set, learn new and predictable techniques, and develop their communication skills in general practice.

The units are split up into multiple days covering Occlusion, Intra-coronal Aesthetic Restorations, Fundamentals of Indirect Tooth preparation, Endodontics, Restoration of the Edentulous space, and Complex Treatment Planning.

The course also includes 2 days at our training centre where you will observe live patient treatments on Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry. Treatments will be Composite Bonding, Injection Moulding, Porcelain Veneers or Full Mouth Rehabilitation.

This course is aimed to provide ongoing support and in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry, thereby allowing you to provide a comprehensive range of treatment options to your patients, with reference to the relevant dental literature.

Our Programmes are level 7 approved by EduQual which leads to a Diploma. This is subject to a satisfactory presentation of a clinical portfolio and assessments. Guidance of which is given throughout the course by the Programme Directors.
